Discover what makes the Czech capital so magical on this relaxed full-day tour of Prague, taking in the sights from the Old Town and the Lesser Quarter all the way to Prague Castle.
Start the Prague tour off under the medieval Astronomical Clock in the middle of Old Town Square. Enjoy a walking tour around the compact Old Town, winding through the narrow alleyways lined with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque churches and palaces. Weave through a web of hidden passageways to reach the local market, to reach the Jewish Quarter.
After visiting the stalls and trying the wares, make your way back out and into Wenceslas Square, one of Europe’s most famous and historical squares, where we continue this ultimate Prague travel adventure. Learn about some of the decisive moments in the country’s history, from the Prague Spring in 1968 to the Velvet Revolution in 1989.
Next, it’s on to Charles Bridge, but get a new perspective on this amazing structure by sailing underneath it first. Board a replica 19th century sailing ship and ride under the bridge, passing the Old Town, and gliding through the Little Quarter along the romantic “Prague Venice” canal. This is a great chance to take some Prague sightseeing photos.
Experience this magical landscape of medieval-like scenery while sipping Czech beer, lemonade or a hot drink. Back on dry land, our walking tour of Prague then meanders across the bridge, stopping to stare up at its many towers and statues, then jump aboard a tram to ride over to Prague Castle. This is the world’s largest castle complex and no visit to Prague is complete without wandering through its magnificent structures.
Here, the Prague tour will end at St.Vitus cathedral and free you to do your further excursion at the country’s most beautiful French Gothic masterpiece. End the Prague tour with a list of sights to further explore, restaurants to visit and secret local spots to call into before your trip to Prague comes to an end.
