What is included in the price?
The price shown on the site includes the tour, activity or experience. Usually the transport is included as well. You will find exact details about what is included and excluded in the offers’ descriptions.
How do I pay for the services?
We accept credit cards (Master Card and Visa), PayPal payments and bank transfers. For payment by bank transfer please contact us via sales@excursiopedia.com or by phone
How does the booking process work?
You send a booking request to the provider by clicking the “book it” button and they will either accepts or rejects this request. At that moment your credit card will be charged with the full amount. If the provider confirms your request you will receive a voucher with the provider’s contact details, the tour details and a PIN code. Please give this voucher to the guide at the beginning of your experience. The provider needs this PIN to receive payment. It is unlikely, but in case the provider will decline your request you will of course receive the full amount on your account.
How do I receive the booking confirmation?
You will receive a booking confirmation via email. Be aware that the first email you receive is only the booking request information. You will receive the actual confirmation email after the provider has accepted your request.
How can I cancel or change my booking?
You can change or cancel your booked experience by sending us an email at help@excursiopedia.com or by calling us. Please tell us your booking details including the changes desired along with your contact details (name, last name, phone, booking PIN). Please be aware that short-term cancelation or changes can result in a fee according to the change and cancelation conditions specified by the provider. Please carefully read the booking policies of your booking.
What is the PIN?
The PIN code is written on the voucher you get after your booking request has been confirmed. It is used to manage your booking and the provider uses it to prove that they have been on tour with you. Please be aware that it is very important to bring the voucher containing the PIN code when you meet with your tour provider.
Where do I find the providers’ contact details?
You will find all the contact details you need on the voucher you will receive via email after your booking request has been accepted.
When do I have to pay?
Your payment details are collected at the same time your booking request is sent. When paying via PayPal or bank transfer please transfer the money as soon as possible after sending the booking request. In the unlikely event that the provider does not confirm your booking we will immediately transfer the money back to your bank account.
Are there any extra payments or deposits?
Your credit card will be charged for the booking price at the same time your booking request is sent. You only have to pay extras that are specified in the “excluded” field. Additional payments may occur for extra requests not specified in the offer.
The provider won’t ask you to pay anything in advance and he won’t ask you to pay anything extra except those things otherwise stated as “excluded” costs (e.g. museum tickets, entrance fees).
Should any provider ask you for any deposit, prepayment or additional payment please inform us immediately via help@excursiopedia.com.
Is it possible to get tailored services or to customize my experience?
Yes, of course. For any additional services, or if you would like to tailor your experience the slightest bit, please specify this in your booking form. Or you can send us an email to help@excursiopedia.com and we will try our best to customize the experience the way you would like it. Some additional services have to be paid additionally. Please carefully read the offer’s terms and conditions.
Do I get my money back in case of any problems?
Of course! We are your service providers and here to ensure that everything goes smoothly. If the provider somehow rejects your order or any other problems arise we will reimburse you the full amount. Remember not to tell the PIN code to anyone before you start your trip, otherwise you cannot be guaranteed to get your money back.
Is it possible to request tours & activities which are not found on Excursiopedia.com?
