Fes or Fez is the second largest city of Morocco. Its old town, known as Fes el Bali, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fes is also known as the cultural and spiritual capital of Morocco. Unlike old town, the new part of Fes, called Ville Nouvelle, is full of modern shops and westernized hotels.
