The capital of Hungary is a beautiful city, spread over both sides of the River Danube. Made up from the unification of the two city halves, Buda on the west bank of the river and Pest on the east, and the contrast between these makes for a city with a feel like no other.
Budapest contains many world-famous sights which are not to be missed, indeed the parts of the city have been granted World Heritage status, due to their stunning architecture and cultural heritage.
Tours in Budapest would include the chance to see all the main sights, such as the magnificent parliamentary buildings on the banks of the Danube, or the classical features of the Museum of Fine Art; but also chances to see a side of the city that may not be as obvious on a first viewing.
Other spectacular sights not to be missed include places such as Heroes Square, commemorating the role played by various figures throughout Hungary’s history.
With so much to see and do within this city, it makes the perfect destination for the tourist who wants something more out of their holiday.
